Dazzle!

WATERY WEDNESDAY
DAZZLE!

When we gaze at a sparkling sea
In the light of brilliant reality,
Sometimes pure dazzle prevents the eyes
From feasting on the wondrous prize.
Only when we capture the same,
Place it in a sort of frame,
Can we appreciate the flash,
The joyous sparkle, twinkling splash,
That made the scene so awe-inspiring
So worthy of our stunned admiring.
A little New Zealand island here.
Photography has made it clear.
Another aspect of New Zealand and water here:

A gorgeous photo of a silvery sea and a small mysterious isle.

The last line, "From sea to shining sea", becomes more meaningful when you view this scene. (From 'America The Beautiful') .

A Good New Year to you, B.

You have captured great depth here, Brenda with a significant foreground AND a significant backgroun.

Once again, health and happiness to you as we travel into 2010.

Dazzle, especially contrasted with the brooding sky. Your words match the photo well.
