Compassion

ALPHABE-THURSDAY
http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com.au/
letter 'C'

COMPASSION

Caring for those we come across.
Offering sympathy where there's loss.
Murmuring words of soft compassion.
Pressing a hand in a friendly fashion.
Asking a question that's just right.
Sensing the pain of another's plight.
Sympathy? No it's so much more;
It's caring for the weak and poor;
Outsiders deserve compassion too;
Need to be helped. They're needing You.

WINTER WEATHER

The winter weather's looking grim
Yet still the hardy swimmers swim!
The waves are frothy, wild and high
Under a grey and heavy sky.
The coal-ships labour way off-shore,
Awaiting storms that are in store.
The gulls beat wings against the weather......
And hardy swimmers swim together.
