Framed

THE WEEKEND IN BLACK AND WHITE

FRAMED

Caught in the act and unaware
That a stray photographer is there,
Catching a glimpse of other lives;
Husbands, lovers, children, wives.
An arm is raised; a head is turned;
Glances exchanged, a new name learned.
A cross-section of humanity
Sailing on a Southern sea.
Framed and frozen, perpetuated,
In an album, named and dated.

Nice silhouettes, and some tricky lighting! I like how well your words suit, too.

Enlarged this is a fascinating scene of activity, and
very dramatic! It would be a good photo to enlarge
and hang on the wall in memory of a likely forgotten moment; the poem is apt!

Not sure that I would be all that keen on sailing off to sea with a poop-deck crowded with other merry makers at the moment, Brenda.

I like the silhouettes that accompany your story, too.
