Perfect Palette

SKYWATCH

PERFECT PALETTE

The trees stand up like brushes
Against the morning sky.
We can almost hear them thinking
Which colour shall I try?'
The palette is so varied,
It must make them all rejoice.
Count the colours if you can.
You'll see they're spoilt for choice.

Beauty of a more subtle kind here:

A beautiful sunrise reflected in the lake. Nature paints from her own palette.

A perfect vantage point too, from which to paint the picture.

Don't know wot's more beautiful; the poem or the snap....both grand indeed, brenda! Cheers! :)

Unfortunately I never see skies like that. Lovely picture.

Aaah, that's beautiful!!

It's what I always think of as a 'jigsaw' sky, because so many of the jigsaw puzzles that I did as a child had colourful skies or interesting cloud formations!

almost sounds like

The sky is the canvas (The World's a stage)
the tree, the colouring brushes (We are all actors in it)
