GRANDMA'S GOULASH
asks us for a VERY short story
OFFSPRING!
You've got to deal with him, Pa!
He says I am only his Ma!
I don't bear a grudge,
But he simply won't budge!
He says we must buy him a car!

BRIDGING THE GAP
(An Acrostic)
Between the two great crags
Raised up above the beach,
I see the bridge connecting them
Designed for easy reach.
Green are the cliffs but perilous,
Imminent is a fall!
Not for me the fragile bridge
Gently swaying above it all!
*
The sea is blue and inviting,
Heavenly is the view,
Every prospect pleases but
*
Gazing at it will do.
Although I'm happy to admire
Prudence suggests avoidance of that 'high wire'!
