The Flowering

CARRY ON TUESDAY
suggests a line from John Lennon as a starting point.
It's written here in blue.

THE FLOWERING

Love is the flower you've got to let grow.
Maybe the seed is deep in the snow.
Maybe the bud is tightly curled
And the nascent leaf still coyly furled.
Maybe the flower fears the frost,
Fears that its blossom will be lost.
Maybe it doubts that it will last
If it yearns for the blazing sun too fast.
Wait and wonder. Love has the power
To grow, in time, to a bounteous flower.

You're prolific and fun and serious all in one!
My response to your flowering call...
let's hurry up and let go
plowing up from beneath the snow
cast aside our many doubts
uncurl the wings and take flight...
go bounteous flower...time's a wastin!

Love is indeed the most beautiful flower of all.

Love and flowers are synonymous. Both are beautiful and both need the right conditions to flourish. You have captured that well.
