On/Off

ON/OFF!

It was love at first sight when he looked at her,
Her features were so endearing,
But then she opened her mouth to speak
And love died at the first hearing!

INDIA
(An Acrostic)

It's history stretches way, way back, into the distant past.
Natural wonders and buildings that will, forever, last.
Delhi was a city replete with history;
Indira Ghandi is famous for political oratory.
As one of earth's great countries we respect its way of life
And trust its future is peaceful, with the minimum of strife.

This poem was simple and perfect. I am in awe of your poetry. I couldn't possibly leave enough comments on each post to show how much I enjoy reading your blog. I am a new follower of yours but, you blow me away with your writing. I hope one day I will be at least half as good as you. Thanks for sharing.
