The Good Old Days

OLD TIME CHRISTMAS

1977 seems a million years ago,

Lost in the mists of time and far away,

But Christmas is nostalgic as everybody knows,

And we think of times gone by on Christmas Day.

Look at the price of this postage stamp! It's now four times as much

And everything else has risen just the same.

And don't forget, in those days the internet wasn't known,

The World Wide Web was just a curious name.

Yet some things never alter, however time goes by.

Good wishes are still joyous things to give .

So let me give good wishes to my readers at this time

Wherever in the world you chance to live.
