She died easily in the end.
I wanted her gone
But dreaded the horror,
Most of all, I dreaded the blood,
After all I had loved her,
I had fallen in love
With the flare of her.
For she burned brightly,
All gold and red;
And red lips,
Always painted thickly,
And the fingers!
I thought of them as talons now.
But not then.
It was the thought of The Other
As I had done,
That tipped me over the edge.
But I could not bring myself
To spill that rich red blood.
She slipped under the water
Without a cry.
I had prepared myself so well.
There was no chance of discovery.
And, certainly, I was in control
No stupid hysteria from me!
And then I saw her toes!
Yes, at least it makes me want to read the book. it's as much as a review can do.

Oh, I could see the series expanding...An adventure in Twinsburg, OH, where twins suddenly go missing during the Twin Convention held there.
And these two sets of twins could team up for the investigation!
What a fun book blurb. I'd buy the book, if only for the names!
