SATURDAY CENTUS
http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com.au/
asks us to consider the term 'Blah, blah, blah.'
One hundred words plus the the prompt
THE TOWER OF BABEL
We live in the Tower of Babel.
Blah, blah, blah!
Pity that we're not able
To get out of where we are.
We hear the voices around us,
The noise is loud and dense.
But if we don't speak the language,
Nothing makes any sense!
If we all spoke the same language
We could understand
How other people are feeling
And we could walk hand in hand.
Subtitles try to help us
But they are not enough;
Translations give an idea
But the idea's often rough.
A universal language
Would surely make not mar
Human understanding
And get rid of blah, blah blah.

The Glass Mountains of Australia
GLASS
People who live in Glass Houses should never, no, never throw stones.
And people who climb Glass Mountains should be wary of breaking bones!
People who live in Glass Houses should always wear plenty of clothes.
And people who climb Glass Mountains dare not strike a nonchalant pose.
For Glass Houses are very revealing; friends may stand outside and stare.
And Glass Mountains are very slippery; one always has to take care.
Risk such a House or a Mountain and you lay yourself open to farce.
Avoid, if you can, an involvement with either one labelled 'Glass'.

Brenda, once again you have displayed your innate sense of getting right to the point! Brava!!!!
Very nicely done. I don't understand how people could live in a suburb and have huge wide windows. Don't they know people are really nosy.
Wise words, indeed!
Wonderful as usual!
