So will-o-the-wisp
Your hands can never hold it
Gone before enjoyed.

Compatibility Check
TAURUS with CANCER
How lucky you’ve met each other! Your union will be ideal!
You both are after the selfsame things; this romance is real.
Taurus loves to be cared for; Cancer is a carer.
Both love home and family, so, tell me, what could be fairer?
Some will say you’re lovey-dovey, a little over the top,
Terribly sentimental! But you're not going to stop!
Cancer loves security; Taurus will supply it.
If Cancer asks for something, Taurus will work to buy it.
Of course, these two aren't faultless; Cancer's a cranky sign,
But is very easily placated when offered food and wine!
Taurus, you are controlling, and not entirely placid,
And, sometimes the Taurus tongue is sharp, the retorts a little acid.
Cancer's feelings are easily hurt, so, Taurus, you must learn
To soften words with honey so they don't sound too stern.
Money, security, house and land, you both desire them all;
You’ll build your own little Heaven behind the garden wall.
Affection, comfort, affluence, plus great security.
Some may find it rather dull
But it will suit you to a 'T'.

So true, your haiku..
happiness...ain't that the truth
Lovely haiku ~ creative ~ thanks, namaste, ^_^
A delightful haiku!
I admit, moments of happiness seem to be so fleeting these days. Grab em while you can and hold on tight! Nice haiku!
That will-o-the-wisp is truly elusive. Perhaps someday it will be captured. I really enjoyed that second poem as well. It makes me think my sign might be wrong because I could easily fit into that vision. :-)
gone before enjoyed :(

Love your haiku!
Yes, happiness can be fleeting ... hold on while you have it!
I enjoyed your haiku. We need to pay attention so the happy times are not "gone before enjoyed" Thanks for the reminder.
O that elusive happiness!
“Six Takes on ‘Happiness’”
Especially enjoyed the haiku.
Very nice, and alas... very true.
You can't touch all things that can be enjoyed... the trick is to know *how* to enjoy them.
Terrific haiku :)
