Trip Trap!

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY
http://heyharriet.blogspot.com/

TRIP TRAP!
If I were a Billy Goat Gruff
I'd trip-trap on my way
Off to the other side,
To dine on a feast of hay.
But a wicked dwarf might catch me
And then I would be dead!
Remember the fairy story!
Beware of what's ahead!

SEPIA SENTIMENT

Sepia, the colour of nostalgia,
Of old-times and dreaming in the shade.
It's the colour of oft-told stories
When parchment pages fade.
White is pure and dazzling,
Grey is rather depressed,
Black is melancholy,
But sepia is always best.
This doll has an air of history,
She poses as an antique.
Her cream dress seems Victorian.............

She was only made last week!

I had completely forgotten the fairy tale about Billy Goat Gruff. Your memory is prodigious.

The rhyme about sepia is very clever. I love it.

Love the shadow on the bridge that inspired Billy Goat Gruff, a fairy tale that never came my way until now!

That's a very inviting bridge with terrific shadows! I'll have to try this meme one day. God knows we get enough shadows here in Cali with all the summertime sunshine!!

Lovely shot of the shadows on the bridge. I wouldn't mind passing across taking my chances with evil dwarves.

Great bridge photo and poem. I'm with Cat! I'd prefer to take my chances with wicked dwarves. That sweet bridge looks far to tempting. I must cross it!

Billy Goat Gruff now that brings back memories - I always was a bit afraid of that guy :) Nice shot in spite of the BGG!
