Precious Drop

WORLD WATER DAY

PRECIOUS DROP!

Said the Little Green Toad to the Little Old Tap
'I hope we don't meet with some mishap!
The world is full of pain and slaughter
But I can manage if I have water.
Water! The very stuff of life!
Without it every other strife
Doesn't really mean a thing.
Water rules! Water is king!
Let's hope those humans keep it flowing!
If not, I don't know where we're going!

A different look at the lack of it here:

I really don't like frogs - I think it is the way they just jump out from under a leaf when I working in the garden - however I love your blog and such a sweet poem.

I am glad the frog has this figured out. I hope we do too.

I live in a place where we actually run out of water most summers for a day or so, so I do all I can to conserve water..

Your frog, by the way, is so cute!

What a wondrous link to Rainbow Summer Schools color GREEN!

I really loved this. Environmental awareness and cleverness all rolled into one perfect little poem.

Thank you for sharing it.
