Four-Leafed Smile

Enlarge the photo to see how we are conserving our energy by not smiling!

THINKING GREEN
http://ramblingwoodsgreen.wordpress.com/

Our Choir-Mistress is constantly admonishing us to 'SMILE!'.
As you see. we don't always manage to do so!

FOUR-LEAFED SMILE!
(To the tune of 'Four-Leafed Clover')

We're looking over
A four-leafed clover
To add just a little stunt.
We need some colour
To add to the scene.
We would duller
Without that bright green.
We bring some pleasure
To folk we treasure
And most of them ask for more!
We're looking over
A four-leafed clover.
That we overlooked before!
*
We sing a chorus
Decided for us
By Pam who's the one in front.
She wags a finger
And we do our best!
We don't malinger
When put to the test.
We're bright and breezy
But it's not easy
To smile when we lose our way.
Keep looking happy
And make it snappy
Or there may be hell to pay!

Hello...You're right, the clover is very green. LOL... I added your link to this week's Thinking Green Thursday as I just put up the new one... Michelle

Standing on our risers was never conducive to making us smile - not with the awful, strappy sandals that were often part of the stage coastume!

This is pretty funny! But how can you help but smile when you are singing?
