Out of the Blue!

Visit Mrs Nesbitt and her goose.

Smiling Sally blogspot.

'Snow', said the goose
'Is not much use;
It's cold when it hits my bill!
I do a flip
When I take a sip,
Swallowing all that chill!
And, furthermore,
I get quite sore
When I see that mass of white!
Against the snow
I no longer glow!
My white looks much less bright!
What a year!
But help is near,
Help from the usual quarter;
A can of blue
From the Nesbitt crew
With lovely tepid water!
When Spring comes round
Then I'll be found,
Strutting my usual stuff!
Looking 'white as snow'
With my usual glow!
Till then, well, life is tough!

More famous, or infamous, geese here:

Oh Brenda, I remembered you wrote a poem for Jo, who we sadly said goodbye to last week. Seeing all the lovely comments people made really brought home the fact that he was a proud, clean chap who deserved tignity! Thanks again. Dxx
