Our little ferry runs back and forth across a stretch of water
And Blake, as a little boy, loved the trip. (His mother is my daughter.)
One day he had a knitted doll, of a Postman Pat design,
He said 'Pat would like a ferry-ride' and we said 'That's just fine'. .
So back and forth we went with him, as landmarks were pointed-out,
And Postman Pat understood it all, of that there is no doubt!
More knitting here:
I loved every word of this post! What a great picture also! : )
Glad he enjoyed hos outing. Makes a change form the van.
Pat's still going strong here, my granddaughter likes him. She hasn't got a knitted one though.
I have not heard of this kind of doll, but what a fun thing to do with your grandson. Good thing he kept a tight grip on the postman!
This is such a cute photo! :-)
Thank you for your visit and comment.
All the best to you,
I think I need a knitted friend to insist on taking me along on all of those adventures I haven't yet made time for. Now I just need a name for him that is as cute as Postman Pat!
What a lovely trip for Blake and Pat both. They are so much easier to entertain at that age. Happy Blue Monday.
