WEEKEND REFLECTIONS
http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-years-day-weekend-reflections-15.html

ALMOST!

If I'd shifted to the right
With a movement merely slight
This would have been a triptych,
Much to my delight!
But with just a passing glance
I missed the perfect chance.
So I didn't shoot a triptych;
Just a silly circumstance!
 *
A 'comment' reveals I'm far from deft!
I should have shifted to the left!

A famous reflection here:

Are things not reversed in reflection? So are we wanting you to move to your right or to your left?

I wish you a happy and healthy journey into twenty ten.

A fun self portrait. You do like to play with words too. Thanks for stopping by. You were the first to comment on the portrait reflections in the water drops. Happy New Year.

Interesting shot--but I'm always getting my rights and lefts mixed up, so I can't help you there! lol

Poetry, Photography, and Vocabulary in one visit (I had never heard on triptych). Lovely! Thanks!

I love your delightful poem (and the couplet addendum too). It's perfect for your photograph today. I try to avoid capturing my own reflection as a general rule, but sometimes it happens accidentally when my attention is focused on something else. Interestingly I enjoy seeing the reflections of other photographers in their photos. Go figure! Happy New Year to you and yours. May the new decade bring you and yours joyful opportunities and experiences!
Hugs and blessings,

No no believe me, it's much better like this. Symetrical pictures can be boring...
Happy New Year!

I really like this one. For a moment I thought it was a collection of framed photos.
Very nice reflection shot!

LOL! Next time! It's a lovely reflection... even if not a triptych!
Left or right? Who's counting?
