The Waiting Game

MONOCHROME WEEKEND

THE WAITING GAME

Not far from the busy roads,
Not far from the urban sprawl,
A little seat beneath the trees
Takes no notice of it all.
It is waiting for a weary walker
Who's trudged the river's banks,
To sink down with a grateful sigh
And quietly murmur 'Thanks.'

That bench looks like a good place to watch the water.

Normally, at this time of the year, that shady bench would be very welcoming indeed. However, this weekend is so teeming with rain ... nice study of contemplation.

Nice view from that bench! And, nice in monochrome!

Great old tree - good to climb while grandma ponders her next rime! Nice shot!

Nice imagery both graphically and in words.
