GRANDMA'S GOULASH
asks for a VERY short story!
SERVES YOU RIGHT!
Arnold pushed Mary out of the car!
Her diamonds flew through the air!
They were the prize we most wanted!
Now, they could be just anywhere!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------LOW MAINTENANCE
High Maintenance babies are everywhere!
Babies need a lot of care.
They scream! They dribble! They often mess!
Yet this one exuded happiness!
Look through Google and you will find
That this one was of a different kind!
In every picture he's beguiling!
Sleeping sweetly, sweetly smiling.
Or else he's gazing out at us,
Without one sign of baby-fuss!
Now babies cry to show a need;
To express a desire to have a feed!
How could Mary ever tell,
Without that all-insistant yell?
Motherhood was all delight;
Not one sign of a broken night!
New young mothers everywhere
Envy that Low Maintenance care!

Diamonds scattered in the snow--the jewel thieves were foiled again. Or are those people the heirs?
Cute poem about the perfect baby.
I bet Mary sometimes would say to later children, "Why can't you be like your brother?!"
I might brave a cold field, if I thought I could find some diamonds. Got a real chuckle from your low maintenance baby.
Whatever did she do to deserve the shove? LOL
Love your poem. I'd not thought of that, but you're right!
You know, this is exactly what happened to Liz Taylor, a while back. But good ol' Lizzy was always about making lemonade from lemons, wasn't she?! *chuckles. Oh? You didn't know?--> Yes, an accidental gem-scattering was the inspiration behind THIS.
