A Ray of Hope

CARRY ON TUESDAY
asks us to use a phrase from 'When a Child is Born'.

A RAY OF HOPE

A ray of hope flickers in the sky;
And wells of hope never will run dry.
The human heart copes with pain and sorrow
By it's belief in an improved tomorrow.
And all it takes for us to find the best
Is 'Do unto others.....'
Well, you know the rest.

THE BLUENESS OF BLUE

Midnight Blue darkness.
Breast, beak, claws floodlit.
And then a song! Maybe the Blues!

Lovely sentiment for anytime of the year, but especially at this time when the world approaches the start of a New Year - perhaps a new beginning for so many!
