Yellow Ball

* See below

MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY

The ball is yellow? Yes!
We don't even need to guess.
Except for a colour-blind few,
We know it isn't blue!
But see the chart below
And it will clearly show
That a normal human eye
Is much better at 'I Spy'
Than that of a canine friend
Who sees the colours blend
In a paler rainbow view
Than either me or you.
This dog, a noble fellow,
Can certainly see yellow,
But it could be the orange ball or the red
That's held in his master's hand instead!
It's really hard for him to tell.
Thank goodness for his sense of smell!

How you appear to your dog!

thanks, I find this post very interesting. never knew that about dogs. I thought dogs only saw black and white.. Maybe a dog painted the original "Blue Boy"

Those charts are fascinating! I feel like I have something very interesting to talk about this afternoon when I walk with my friend and her dog. ;-)
