SKYWATCH
PROMISE
(A Haiku)
Now we see the sky
And the green grace of the leaves.
Soon will come the grapes.

RED CARPET TREATMENT!
Fancy dining a la carte?
At a cafe called 'Mousie Menu'?
You might dine on trap-cheese tart,
But, I fear that when you
Had entered in the tiny hole
And gorged yourself on food,
You might have trouble ......bless my soul...
I don't want to be rude.....
But you admit you're prone to greed;
You admit to liking cheese.....
Mouse-waiters' bring forth food at speed
We admire their expertise!
You may grunt and you may grumble,
No longer skinny as a pole!
Rotund tum will churn and rumble
When you're stuck there in the hole!

So many grapes you will not know what to do with them all! But they will certainly look wonderful from that
good looking arbor you have.
I have had days where my 'rotund tum' got me stuck in a hole. Delightful haiku along with such a beautiful photo and angle.
A lovely sky view through the arbour.
Soon you'll have so many leaves, and so many grapes, you won't be able to see the sky, but it looks beautiful now, Brenda.
And "rotund tum" is a delightful use of words.

Beautiful shot through the grape arbor!!! Cute poem too...I got a chuckle!
Nice composition in your photo.
Nice haiku, too.
Regards and best wishes
The grape arbor is beautiful and to gaze up at the sky is an added bonus.
Nice Haiku.
Cute poem about the mouse dining and too plump for the hole.
