By Stealth

GRANDMA'S GOULASH
asks for a story with less than 140 words.
She supplied the picture.

BY STEALTH

Jacky stole my lollipop off the party table
He picked it up and took a lick quickly as he was able.
He put it in his pocket, not thinking I would see,
But he wasn't quite as crafty as clever little me.
'Let's go and chalk on the chalk board' I said 'I'll show you, Jack.'
And here you see me reaching out to get my lollipop back! (68 words)

SHADOW TIMES TWO!

Until I started blogging I never really thought
About the shapes of shadows and the pleasure that they brought!
A shadow was a shadow....... there was nothing more to say.
But the world of memes has made me look at life in a different way.
Here, in the corner of a restaurant I saw a duplication!
The reflection of a shadow! An identical creation.
My eyes keep darting here and there to see what I can see!
My friends think I've gone bonkers!
I hope you don't agree!

Simply adorable! (Makes me want to take the short of the two of my clothes lines down so I can skip rope and chant your rhyme!)

Jacky does look guilty...and proven so. Fun to read, story-rhyme.

Clever rhyme and clever girl. Wonder how she feels about pocket lint on her lollipop!

Jacky may be sneaky, but the little girl is sneaky AND clever. A lethal combination. Jacky doesn't stand a chance! LOL

I enjoyed both, but I probably wouldn't want the lollipop back...
