Hot Off the Press!

HOT OFF THE PRESS!

Pam and I did a show today.
I thought the world should see
Just how very silly
Two old dears can be!
Pam is, of course, the villain,
The moustache gives that away.
I'm the innocent virgin.
'No! No!' is all I say!
All the other silly old ladies
Laughed and enjoyed the show.
And if you think we're round the bend
We don't want to know!

A little more about Galloping Grannies here:

I can see you now; what fun! I am sure the other 'old' ladies enjoyed it. Your rhyme is great; I must return and catch up on more of you writing.

I would have loved to have seen you on stage like this! I'm positive that it was a hoot! Fun:)

Thank you for your comment on my blog.
I loved your poem.
What makes a poem a poem for me is not form but content. Content that lets one feel with the poet.
Please don't judge me by one comment on Jinsky's blog. If you look back you will see that I left her lots of positive comments as well. I tend to say what I really think in a comment and not what I think people want to hear.

I can imagine one's children thinking that, but not the grandchildren! How fortunate we are to be ancient sillies if we want to be. Nice picture of you!

Very amusing poem! Thanks for the good laugh! I am now enjoying Bach's "Schafen sollen sicher weiden..." My favourite kind of music! Is that you playing?
