Hangover

MICROFICTION
http://www.stonyriver.ie/2011/02
supplied the prompt

HANGOVER!

I knew I shouldn't have drunk so much!
Now I'm really in strife!
Which room belongs to Hot-Lips
And which one to my wife?
*
-------------------------------------------------------------------

SHADOW ON SHINE

Shadow on shine or shine on shadow?
What a conundrum to tease the brain?
Shade and reflection, sheen and shimmer,
All set-off by the bright wood-grain.

Aw, it's a shame that Hot Lips and Wife aren't one and the same.

Whoa, that is a pretty important decision your character must make. One could mean blissful life and the other a really messy divorce.

This could be a real problem for him. Door number 1 or door number 2! Hope he thinks about it for a while.
Very good take on this weeks pic!

I hope he finds his way to the right room or there'll be hell to pay!

Let's hope he learns his lesson...and finds the right door (whichever that might be)!

This is such a funny and good take on the week's prompt! You really made me laugh. I haven't heard "Hot Lips" in years and it brought back many Mash memories.
Loved your poem about money also - really good stuff.

Definitely some "trouble and strife" for him in the future, methinks.

Your poems are great, Brenda. I am amazed at how prolific you are!

Thanks for the comment on mine. Hope your week is going well.

It would serve him 'well and good' to get caught! I hope both Hot Lips and Wife find out....LOL
