Moving Day

BLACK AND WHITE

MOVING DAY

All unpacked and all in place,
Of all the turmoil not a trace.
Vans departed, all inside,
He’s consumed by new-home pride.

UP AND OVER!

Fully-clothed, they climb a rope
Dangling beside the silver sea.
'Delft' in colour yet residing
Where no touch of Dutch should be!
Surely the era it's expressing
Is one from an earlier time than ours,
And the floral aspect echos
Something of Victorian flowers!
Nevertheless, the whole is cheerful,
Expressing a universal glee,
When Nature and the joy of effort
Combine in bright frivolity.

I like the composition of the photo and the feeling
that goes with it! Definitely a black and white
ambiance - no lived-in look yet. It makes once think twice about moving!
