Robot Ride

MY FOUR THOUSANDTH POEM! GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS HERE I COME!

GRANDMA'S GOULASH
asks us for a VERY short story.

ROBOT RIDE

The Creature from Outer Space
Was a cruel, robotic disgrace!
Disguised as a ride,
Once he got kids inside
He ate them and left not a trace!
(140 characters)

CONVERSATION

A squally sea beyond the glass,
But let the conversation pass
Mouth to mouth and brain to brain,
Back and forth and back again.
Smart opinions in your ear,
All washed-down with a glass of beer.

Hi Rinky ~~ I love the 'Creature from Outer Space idea. Your muse was working overtime for this 4000th. Congratulations!

Or was this other, One Beer, Oblivious While High and Dry, 5h3 one? (Lots of puns there, sorry--not really.) Congratulations too if this is the one, Both are in fine style this morning.

Congratulations on your 4000th poem, Brenda! That is quite an accomplishment.

"Robot Ride" is excellent---not only is it funny, but it's a limerick and has exactly 140 characters. You're a real pro at this!

Brenda, you certainly are a poetic pro. Congratulations on 4000 poems. How did you ever keep track? And when did you start counting? I've long ago lost everything I wrote when I was a kid.
But your creature from outer space, although beyond nasty, was a triumph in the world of amusement park rides.
