Acrostic for BACKSEAT DRIVER
WHAT DID HE SAY?
"Better let me navigate!
Aren't you going to accelerate?
Careful! You took that corner fast!
Keep to the left! He can't get past!
See! I told you the tyres were worn!
Easy does it! Not on the lawn!
Actually you should use second gear!
Turn here! Turn here! Turn here! Turn here!
*
Double-parking is a crime!
Remember you did it that other time!
It's getting late! Mind! Mind! Mind! Mind!
Vehicles coming up behind!
Empty parking over there!..........
Rudeness wont get you anywhere!"

How glad am I that I've never driven - front, or back seat! When being ferried in anyone's car, I always assume they know what they're doing, therefor no back seat comments needed!
Brenda my father's mother was a front and backseat driver, but fairly good behind the wheel, herself. An auntie of mine supplies her own nattering, even whilst driving...too funny, this :)
Hi Brenda! I came over looking for your link to Simple Suppers - I can't find it! Help!
My goodness, Brenda, when do you find time to sleep? You are the original Energizer Bunny.
Cute Acrostic, by the way.
I had someone like this in my car once. I pulled to the curb and suggested she would be more comfortable walking. Suddenly she was silent.
One can supply a plaster to such people doing the back seat driving.
It can be either used to seal either their mouth or their eyes :))))
Oh dear...I recognize myself.
Sigh! I hope I'm not like that! My kids said I made them nervous when I was teaching them to drive. Two out of three turned out to be excellent drivers, and the third one isn't TOO bad - but now that she's grown I try to keep my mouth shut when she drives!
Back seat driver, wow.
love it.
I came by via Alphabe-Thursday. Loved your rhyme AND acrostic. How clever!
I've known more than a few backseat drivers... you got it spot on!
Clever poem!
=)
JDaniel has just started becoming one of these.
Oh I can so relate, I know some backseat drivers even when they are safely in the front seat!
Hahaha! Great poem! I can certainly relate to it. My ex-husband was a terrible back seat driver, and he just drove me crazy! One day, I had had enough, and I told him, "I have NEVER had an accident or a ticket, but if I ever do, it will be YOUR FAULT, so just SHUT UP!!!
Awesome. So clever!!
I missed the posting deadline for Alphabe-Thursday this week...feel free to stop by, tho... :)
This sounds like my Dad!
Sad but true.
Why does it seem so much funnier here than when he's in the car with me!
Thanks for the best poetry link of the week!
A+
