Symbolic Sky

If I were religious, which I'm not,
I'd see my soul as a little white dot
Seagull-shaped and off in the blue
When all my life had been lived through.
Such fantasies are quite compelling
Such stories make delightful telling.
But since I doubt such things can be
A dreamless sleep is enough for me.

What an amazing blue, and the seagull of course contrasts so well. Nice poem, too.

I could not find a link to the SkyWatch blog. (Sorry if I missed it.) Please be so kind to include it in your SkyWatch posts.

Thanks so much!
