Guess the Season

SKYWATCH
http://skyley.blogspot.com/

GUESS THE SEASON!

The sky of an Australian winter; imagine a chilling breeze
But all the leaves left growing on the eucalyptus trees.
We rarely see bare branches and yet we often know
That somewhere in the hillsides the rain has turned to snow.
So, although this looks like summer, remember the winter chill
And the snow that's falling gently on some high but distant hill.

Hard to imaging that it is winter, but it seems like a beautiful winter day. Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend.

You always have a rhyme for every season...and post! Thankyou. It has been a while since I visited. I have some similar skies on my post today!

It certainly feels very chilly to look at. A refreshingly different skywatch photo!

There is no chill here. Today the high was 96 F. Hot, hot, hot.

What a lovely clear sky - the leaves on the trees do conjure a warm season. Excellent rhyme as usual. Have a good weekend. Hugs Jo - South Africa

Someone told me it's the cold that produces that crisp, blue sky. I have no idea how, but it does make for wonderful photos. Like yours! Just beautiful. Happy SWF!

That's a winter sky..!!! How interesting. If you hadn't added the coldness by the poem :))) I only see a warm and hot sky.
