From Inside Out

SKYWATCH

FROM INSIDE OUT

When Skywatchers go watching they look up at the sky.
They lie there in the meadows, and watch with an eagle-eye.
When Skywatchers go watching they keep away from crowds;
They flee to the open country and look up at the clouds.
When Skywatchers go watching with cameras at the ready
They take a tripod with them to keep the pictures steady.
When Skywatchers go watching they stay till the evening comes;
In Australia they watch the sun set between the graceful gums.
When Skywatchers go watching they leap out of bed at dawn
To pounce upon a sunbeam that's only newly born
*
But this Skywatcher was lazy; it was cold so she stayed inside!
She just snapped through the window when taking a ferry ride!

A window with a story here:

We're allowed to be lazy sometimes. It gives a different perspective.

We have some lovely skies here, but I am too unsteady on my feet to go out and take pictures. I look out the window and think what a lovely photo that would make, but I am too tired to get the camera out.

I'm with you - no watching from a prone position any more Unless I can see the sky from my bed. ;-)

Good idea you stayed inside out of the wind and spray and still caught the sky and the sparkles.

I like the ferry window shot. And I'm only up early (right now there's beautiful sunrise developing) because it's a requirement of my life. And I'm way too lazy to haul around a tripod. Maybe there are more lazy than you think!

Yes, this one works well - window cleaning done, I take it! Good rime about skywatchers!

It turned out well just like this. Why go outside if you don´t need to?
