ODDITY!
I came upon this picture and it leaped up from the page!
A rather odd contraption from a very different age!
It was advertised as giving Baby plenty of fresh air
If the parents lived in a high rise and the child got in their hair!
Baby doesn't look too pleased as he dangles from a height.
What if they forget him and leave him there all night!!

A very different 'O' here:

That is a strange "cage" for a child! Love your words as always, Brenda! Hope your week is going well!

I don't have children and don't live in a high rise, but I doubt I would ever use one of those contraptions! What if it fell out of the window?
I'm laughing, but the little kid is definitely not finding it a fun experience. Love the picture and your words, as always, are a great read!
That's just too darn scary to me. I would be so afraid that something would happen. The kiddo looks that way too.
Great post for O.
Today that would be called child abuse!!!
A real oddity!!
Love the picture and your words, - the baby looks as apprehensive as I would be about being out in a cage.
yikes! not a god choice, I think.

ohhhh my...ohhhh my...
It me who got a fright...
I have a fright...
I fell down a two storey high when i was a babe...and the doctor said i will forget the shock...
but no its been a long..long while
and the pages seems dark brown..
but ohhhh
still afraid of the heights...
am not afraid of tall trees...i climb up on them...even the tallest one...
but in buildings...really i will be caught without a life...
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
In an age of health & safety this would not be popular - judging by the expression I would think this child was destined for a job with the department! lol!
Thanks so much for contributing

Oh my...I wonder if that is even legal now days! What an unexpected find.
Oh my god, that is just not good parenting, and it looks so strange ...
Poor little devil. Reminds me of a thing I saw hanging on the side of Colchester castle about 40 feet up. A small cage, just about big enough for a ten year old. The guide told us a young man had been martyred in it.
Of course, he didn't have a comfy blanket, and probably wasn't taken inside when it rained.
