Margaret Gosden
This is indeed a 'mellow' yellow. See variations on the theme at
SPLIT PERSONALITY!
So still it is, an image frozen
In a pose that Margaret's chosen.
Pale, decisive, curved, controlled;
Shadows dark, immobile, bold.
*
Yet we see, with a brief glancing,
That all is merry, shimmering, dancing!
Leaves and berries? Who can tell?
It tells of Spring and Fall as well!
*
Against a wall the sun has sprayed
With colour of a gentle shade.....
Is it setting? Is it rising?
The choice is of our own devising.
*
An image to gaze at in a mood
'Which is that bliss of solitude'.
Take from it what you may, dear friend;
The possibilities never end.

This was my friend, Margaret's contribution to SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY. I felt that it needed more than one airing!
A very different dance here:

Yes, there are variations, for when the mobile is lit by the sun coming through slatted shades, there are those shadows, too. As it is, as I explained in my answer to your comment, this mobile now has its own light, is hung by a white thread and, yes, I have had it since 1960. The variations in is gentle movement are endless!
