Plus:Mystic Mosaic

For
SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY

MYSTIC MOSAIC.

Admiring a mosaic we all gathered round.
Then, purely accidentally, look at what we found!
A group of ghosts had gathered from some long-forgotten show,
Dreaming of their glory-days in pageants long ago.
Recalling the excitement of the cheering and the clapping;
Days when they were younger and their feet were busy tapping.
It's a rather charming whimsy but (you knew it all along!)
The shadow of the camera proves I've got it wrong!

True - halfway through your poem and I'm reading ghosts and thinking if it weren't for that camera and then you got me.
What a great shadow shot and poem to go with it!

The colours make this pic look like an early cave painting in red ochre and black...

No, you got it just right, fun verse...don't you wish we'd had digital cameras back in the day...what ghosts we could've captured then.

Forget the great shadow shots. I much prefer the romanticism of ghosts!
