SKYWATCH FRIDAY comes around again.
FORTUNE-TELLING
FORTUNE-TELLING
I am not a bit clairvoyant!
Fortune-telling's not my line.
But when I see this beach at Manly
I can read a certain sign!
People lazing in the sunshine
On a lovely balmy day,
Think the storm-clouds may pass-over,
Think that they will blow away.
But I know (alright it's hindsight)
That they'll soon be soaking wet,
Running from the beach in frenzy,
In a storm they won't forget!
Lovely colours, turquoise ocean,
Clouds a glorious purple-blue,
But I know what's due to happen!
I was there! I got wet too!

it does look like a sky that is full. I thought maybe it was cold as the lady in pink is wearing a sweater?

I guess yu've been there and done that. LOL I still can't get over how easy you seem to be able to do a poem.
Great poem as always! Amazes me! Do you speak in poetry? This is a terrific shot, marvelous sky and lovely beach! Happy SWF! Enjoy!
Great view and photo, looks like an awesome place to sit and relax.
Have a great weekend!

I love your poem and you capture the sky right before it is about to rain. Nice shot for SWF.
After months of mostly sun, a flood advisory went up in Broward County ... or so I've heard. And it rained like gang busters on our eastern end of the county, near the Everglades. But not so much at Naples Beach (But I still haven't seen the final numbers ...)
Your sky looks similar to the ones I have this week. Plenty of clouds, but beautiful. :-)
Ohh, I love your poem. Really good. Great shot. I love the setting. The sky does look like it's going to pour down rain soon.
A great poem to accompany this picture with those impressive clouds and that green sea. You really have a way with words.
This fortune telling sounded so much like our weather announcement in TV - they put their hand outside the window and on getting drenched, run in to announce - "rains are lashing the city"
