I'm not a preachy person, and I don't do much about anything, but, sometimes, statistics can be overwhelming.
LISTEN AND BE GRATEFUL!
Five million people in the world are homeless refugees!
(Be very, very grateful if you're not one of these!)
More than two billion people still have no sanitation!
(Be very, very grateful if it's not your situation.)
Eleven million children die before the age of five!
(Be very, very grateful if yours are still alive.)
One billion people drink and wash using water far from clean.
(Be very, very grateful if this is not your scene.)
Forty million people are living with HIV.
(Be very, very grateful when you say 'Well, that's not me!')
These are our brothers and sisters, partners here on earth.
And the whole thing is decided by an accident of birth!

Greetings!
It is heartrending and very distressing to see the statistics of millions of people who have no homes, sanitation, clean water and suffering from HIV.
God has blessed us with so many things and we take them for granted.
I would like to add one more to the list: Millions of people also die of starvation and lack of medical facilities.
We are truly blessed by our merciful creator.
I also believe that these poor suffering people will be amply rewarded by GOD. Their sufferings will not go in vain.

It's always good to count your blessings, that's for sure.
We ignore statistics thinking that number cannot include us...until it does. We really should be grateful if we are not a statistic, and count our blessings.
What an inspired way to put your message across. I guess it's all down to the luck of the draw.
I am constantly grateful that I had the good fortune to be born where I was. It is disgraceful that we are a world of have and have-nots. The richest countries owe so much more to the poorest.
