THREE WORD WEDNESDAY
asks us to use 'quality, jiggle and early.'
EARLY BIRDS
Early man would choose his mate
By the way she chose to wiggle,
By the way she shyly glanced at him
And gave a little giggle;
By her walking on her way
With a bouncy little jiggle,
And by the way she liked to dance
With a really quality wriggle.

Come to think of it, to this day
Things are done the same old way!

BROTHERHOOD.
(An Acrostic)
Boys grow up to be strong men;
Reckless and riotous now and again!
Other men are deemed their 'mates';
'Thick as thieves' the description states!
Hostilities find men combined;
Eventually, they bond, we find.
Ribald jokes and caterwauling!
Heaven help us! It's appalling!
Old men still think back with pleasure
On their days of fun and leisure.
Dad, though old, pontificates
About adventures with his mates.

Interesting poems both of these. I liked the second one the most as it described the brotherhood of men.
I am so glad you finished the early man piece as you did, because the truth is still the truth is still the truth... :-)
Really enjoyed both pieces, and some things really never do change.
loved loved loved the images of giggling jiggling wriggling prehistoric woman looking for a mate ;o)
Loved your 3-word Wednesday poem! So true!
How many times do I have to say: "Two great poems" ?
Every time time you post your pieces I suppose. Thanks again!
Haha, love it!
