Dusk was descending, the ferry chugged by,
I saw, from the deck, lighting up the sky,
This face which loomed with its cheerful grin,
Welcoming all the travelers in.
See the yellow, unbrushed teeth!
And the Entrance is just underneath!
Not for me, this destination,
Nor the juvenile jollification!
But I had to admire the widened eyes,
Filled with the glow of great surprise.

The ferry moved off into the night,
Into the dark and away from light.

PAN
A Cinquain.
Statue.
Lively, mythological.
Frolicking, posing, laughing.
The spirit of Nature.
Pan.

Wonderful poem.
I'm with you and have no desire to enter the world that yellow fellow has!
wow, pretty lights!
Mellow Yellow!
I wouldn't want to go near that yellow-toothed face.
But I love the Pan poem.
