Iron Man!

IRON MAN!

Is ironing a bore
And are you looking for
Some way to add some zing
To that boring ironing 'thing'?
I suggest you take your board
To some charming place abroad
And find a mountain top
Above a dizzying drop!
Perch your board right there
Next to the 'thin air'!
You'll find you're stimulated
By the thrill that you've created!
All that adrenalyn pumping through you
Will certainly do something to you!
Ironing, so dull before,
Will now become your favourite chore!

MODERN COMMUNICATIONS!

A baby born in America;
A Great-Grandpa from the UK,
Who was on vacation in Australia
Introduced the modern way!
An email crossed the distance!
A click made the precious link!
A truly modern relationship!
Gorgeous, don't you think?

My old friend, Rob, was staying with us. He received this photo of his fourth
great-grandchild!

Well, this is the first I've heard of extreme ironing. Of course, I think most ironing is going to extremes....

Hahaha! LOVE IT! When my ironing gets to be overwhelming, I simply bury it in the back yard.

I haven't ironed in years. I hate it. I would rather pay someone
( and do ) rather than undergo that torture myself.

Your rhymes always delight me.

Nope! Sorry! Can't place it!

Love H's comment. I am still chuckling over her cleverness.

I'm a throwback to some dark age I'm certain, but I totally love ironing.

I dry my clothes outside. There is nothing more amazing then a shirt scented with fresh air and ironed smooth.

Or perhaps I just need to get a bit more of a life - ha!

Thanks for a fun link! The picture made me laugh.

Ironing will never be the same. I will always think of this poem when I iron.

That is an adorable baby! I must say, I don't think I would like to try ironing on that precipice.

If it gets to be too much, then just throw it out! Works for me, and no one ever misses it

So, yeah. If I had to iron like that I would just be wrinkly all the time.

Well, wait.

Ummm...

I am wrinkly all the time.

Yeah, I meant my clothes!

And that bottom poem. You so perfectly expressed how the world communicates now.

What a sweet baby.

What a fun stop for Alphabe-Thursday's letter "I".
