Dear Brenda ~~ Thank you so much for your concern. You are right - the words 'UTTER DEVESTATION' say it all.So many deaths and loss of homes and everything else. It is heartbreaking.I have spent quite a while watching and reading about it all, in tears It is much cooler today, thankfully, I wish I felt better to enjoy it. I think that I will be quite safe, I live right in the city of Shepparton and am roughly an hour or so drive from me to Beechworth, Seymour and Bendigo where the fires are or have been. Take care, my friend and thanks for your concern. Love and Hugs, Merle.

My thoughts are with everyone who has lost so much! But I know that with the way Aussies are, there will be plenty of support and love shown.
I do remember Brenda. Wishing everyone a happy New year. And around the corner this devastating trajedy unfolds.
