Ballerina

                                  Brenda Bryant

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY
http://heyharriet.blogspot.com/
BALLERINA!

A ballerina in the footlights, with tutu pinkly flared!
She has just made her entrance! She is a little scared.
A shadow is her scenery, painted on pristine white,
As she stands there, a little breathless, blinking in the light.

A very different dance here:

Yes this is a lovely ballerina in her pink tutu! Happy week ahead!

ps-Went to your dance of the macabre. I've never been able to figure out the cult of Goth myself. I'm guessing they might be so sad or depresssed that they can't see beauty in the common things.

Love the ballerina story in poetry to complement the lovely single rose! The rose casts a pretty, soft shadow on the wall!

Lovely shadow shot of the rose against house 'siding'
(as we call it). Is that the name of the rose, I wonder.
Looks like someone knows how to prune!

Beautiful and elegant! That rose does indeed remind me of a ballerina.
