MONOCHROME
WAY OUT.
The afternoon sun lowered itself onto the tiles.
In the road a car-door slammed.
It was time to go home.

I love black and white photos. Like the old saying does, there's no place like home. Some evenings when I am sitting in the living room, watching out our bow window, while waiting for dinner to finish cooking, I watch the different neighbors coming home, pulling into their drive ways and or garages, wondering to myself, what will they be fixing for their dinner tonight and will they watch TV, read or play some board game with their kids.
Myself, no matter how far I go, even a short trip, I'm always so happy to arrive back home.
I love the first line of the poem, being obsessed with sun images these days! Nice monochrome.
