I wrote your name in the sky
But the wind blew it away.
Of course, I added your age!
I see that managed to stay!
I thought the idea was great!
Now you've gone off in a huff!
It seems my romantic gesture
Wasn't quite enough!

My mom used to write and was a retired teacher too. Unfortunately in her 80's she developed dementia and is unable to do so any longer.
