Stalker

ACROSTIC ONLY

STALKER!

Suddenly  I know he's there!
Turning, he's behind me!
Aspects of our love-affair
Leading him to find me!
Knowing what is in his heart
Every footstep taunts me!
Rejection played a fatal part
And retribution haunts me!

You are too good for your own good .. you can write your butt of! This is so true to life, it's scary to think about it.

The realities of such things can be haunting. Darn retribution, but too it has a way of balancing things out.

Dear Poet,
If you are receiving this announcement, it means that at one time or another you linked an acrostic poem at Acrostic Only. We are in the process of preparing for our first Acrostic Only Anthology – Volume I. If you care to be a part of this wonderful project, please visit our Blog for more information.

We will be choosing poems to be considered for the Anthology from January – March, 2010. However, if you desire to have some of your work considered, there are a couple of deadlines you will have to meet, and you must email me your intentions to acrosticonly@gmail.com!

I thank you all for supporting Acrostic Only, and I look forward to another year poetic interaction.

Happy New Year to you, your beloved family, and readers!
Amias

I like this. It has elements of fear, but mostly humour. A very different take on a stalker. :)

Wow, acrostic and rhyme without sounding forced, you make it sound so easy ;)

Stalkers are the scariest. I see this type of torment too often in my work. Very well written, as usual.
