WONDER
I wonder at the wonder
Surrounding a little story!
A baby born so long ago
Now imbued with pomp and glory.
I wonder at the wonder
If perchance it should be true.
And I wonder at the ways of man
And what belief can do.
I wonder at the wondrous words,
Tale-telling down the ages,
And I wonder at the power of books
And their reverential pages.
I wonder at world-wide beliefs,
Passed down through generations.
Widely accepted everywhere
Without any reservations.
We live in a world of wonder
Whatever's false or true,
And it's a wonder in itself.....
What wondering can do!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
I wonder ... a thought provoking poem. Merry Christmas.
A wonderful poem full of wonder! The great wonder of Christmas is that people may be united in the love and respect for each other. It's a great poem!Thank you! I wish you too a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Thank you for your visit. I feel honored if you write a poem about the windmills. The waterwindmills are always built in a row, because of their job to pump the water into a reservoir. The single windmill is used for other purposes, such as grinding grain or making paper.
Have a Wonderful Yule.
When in doubt climb a hill and look for the sea.
A thoughtful and thought provoking poem.
Yes, we have many reasons to pause to wonder - for good and ill.
But wishing you and your a season of quiet reflection - with moments of giddy siliness too.
Lift a glass to 2009 and hoping people try to be a bit kinder to one another!
Happy Christmas!
