An urgent admonition

To be energetic,

Healthy,

Muscular,

Young

And in the race!

Run from Sydney to Mudgee

As my illustration

Exhorts you to do!

But what if it were not to mean

'Running From'

Or 

'Running In'

But 

'Running Towards.'?

Forget fear!

Forget competition!

Replace 'Run' with 'Strive'.

And let 'strive' encompass

Write, 

Paint,

Act,

Sing,

And Love in all its forms.

So long as it is a move Towards Life

And not from it.
