Big Draw/Plant Pot

BIG DRAW

Hear ye! Hear ye! One and all!

Walk or run or creep or crawl,

Pencil in hand and bright eyes gleaming,

To where the other folk are streaming

Through Newcastle, every happy native

Bent on being very creative!

What a draw-card, the Big Draw,

The Biggest Draw you ever saw!

What if your figures look like sticks?

Come and have some fun and mix

With other people, talented some,

But others who are just ho-hum.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Don't delay!

Make plans for the 25th today!

PLANT POT
(With apologies to Gilbert and Sullivan)

'The flowers that bloom in the Spring, tra la'

Are happiest under your chin.

For there, on a chain, they can swing, tra la,

Provided they don't have a sting, tra la,

Or have an uncomfortable pin

Or have an uncomfortable pin.

And people will say as they gaze at your chest,

'You look like a garden and we are impressed.'

Tra la la la la, tra la la la la

The flowers that bloom in the Spring. (rep)
