Cottage by the Creek*

Throsby Creek

WATERY WEDNESDAY

OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY

COTTAGE BY THE CREEK

I called on Pam last week
In her cottage by the creek,
With the water lapping right up to her door.
Her Victorian bric-a-brac,
(She really has a knack)
Is something I'm admiring more and more.
The roses and the prints,
The quaintness of the chintz,
The candles standing sentinel in white,
All create an air of calm
And nineteenth century charm.
Somehow everything seems just exactly right.

On one side, one can drive away in a car.

On the other side, get into a boat and sail away..!!!

  8. How beautiful it must be to live so close to the water, as long as it doesn't suddenly come through the front door! What fun poetry to match the photo...
