You went in a petrifying direction--almost Stephen King-like. <br /><br />Have you ever read the book "The Butterfly and the Bell Jar"? It's the true story about a man who became paralyzed, and the only thing he could move was his eyelids. While in the hospital, they had to sew one of his eyelids shut; they were going to sew the other one shut to save his eye. He was unable to speak to tell them, "Don't!" He "wrote" the book by using a letter board and blinking the words, one letter at a time.
