I do believe that "we" are guilty of some terrible things done to Aboriginal people.
"We" also did some awful things to our own people who were packed off to Australia sometimes just for being an orphan & then letting the children get abused horribly.
At least the folk in Australia are now a civilized nation & are aware of the mistakes of the past, despite the bad beginningMaggie Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06183886005936250976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976656567250803879.post-55507527538718252112009-01-26T04:07:00.000+11:002009-01-26T04:07:00.000+11:00i enjoyed this so much as i just read something th...i enjoyed this so much as i just read something the other day a forwarded email that stated from the native american indian point of view how the white man had screwed up this country in no time at all,, while the indians were here"forever" and everything was alive and fresh and working....

i would love to have had the opportunity to live the simpler lifestyle they lived,, as well as your aborigines before the ever civilized white man made his mark......paisleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08231453820728399262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976656567250803879.post-59030866672499759322009-01-26T03:52:00.000+11:002009-01-26T03:52:00.000+11:00Great poem, as always. Her mother -in-law is a friend of mine. And my daughter has just finished a book about one of the brothers of her MIL. He had a difficult life, but luckely married a Wonderful German wife. They are a happy couple and have three children. He is my age 75 and an artist.Reader Wilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06384603525251159272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976656567250803879.post-45572057701566419112009-01-26T02:53:00.000+11:002009-01-26T02:53:00.000+11:00Great braiding of the three events!Great braiding of the three events!Linda Jacobshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14459940700516084069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7976656567250803879.post-42973831120986733512009-01-26T02:24:00.000+11:002009-01-26T02:24:00.000+11:00I believe this is my first visit to your blog, but...I believe this is my first visit to your blog, but I'll be back. On this occasion, she merely frowned, which was worse.

Thank you for stopping by mine.Roanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01841824351740989301noreply@blogger.com
